Consumer court details on website

Coimbatore: President and District Judge of the Coimbatore District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum S.A. Sree Ramulu has announced that cause list and judgment copies are posted on the website for the benefit of the public and litigants.

A release from the Judge said that since January 1, 2008 the daily cause list i.e., the list of cases being taken up for hearing with the details of the complainant, respondents, advocates appearing for either side, has been posted on the website by 6 p.m., the previous day. From March 1, the judgment copies were being posted on the net at 6 p.m., the very same day. on March 12. All the 128 judgments given till date since January 1, 2008 have been posted on the web site. For getting judgments in Tamil, those accessing the net should download the Tamil – Aiswarya (font). Website could be accessed on www.confonet.nic.in
