Police personnel honoured

NELLORE: Inspector General of Police (IG), Guntur range Satyanarayan and Superintendent of Police (SP) B. Malla Reddy have presented cash awards to 16 police personnel that cracked one of the biggest bank robbery cases recovering Rs. one crore worth gold ornaments and also a cricket betting racket.

The awardees include ASP J. Kanaka Rao, Sub-Divisional Police Officer of Kavali, B. Bhagiradha Babu, Inspector of Police of Kaligiri, K. Prasada Rao, SI of Vinjamur R. Nageswara Rao, SI of Kavali I. Srinivasan, PC of Atmakur B. Siva Prakash, PC of Vinjamur T. Madhusudhana Rao and P. Satyam, PC of V. K. Padu D. Satyanrayana, PC of Kavali I town Sk. Riyaz, S. A. R. Fernandez, Y. Mastan and M. Srinivasula Reddy, Armed Reserve PC of Nellore P. Chakrapani, SI of Nellore III town P. Srinivasulu Reddy and PC of Nellore III town S. Vijaya Sagar.
