International school to come up

Kozhikode: Calicut University Vice-Chancellor Anwar Jahan Zuberi will inaugurate the initial activities for starting the Calicut International School, Atholi, here on Sunday.

Thaha Group of Institutions is starting this school to impart education of international standards to students in Malabar, group chairman Sayed Thaha Bafakyh and principal V.V. Abdul Gafoor said here on Wednesday.

M.P. Veerendra Kumar, MP will preside over the function. Fatimah Lateef, member of parliament, Republic of Singapore, will be the chief guest.

Initially, classes from LKG to first standard will be started at Koyilandi.
