President accepts Mithi’s resignation

NEW DELHI: President Pratibha Patil has accepted the resignation of Mukut Mithi as Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry and has given additional charge of the Union Territory to Lt. Governor of Andaman and Nicobar Islands Bhopinder Singh.
