FOUR-LEGGED ACCESSORY: The world’s smallest dog, the ‘Chihuahua’, and another canine at an exhibition in Bangalore on Thursday. BANGALORE: What are dogs doing in an exhibition of interior decoration and household articles? This is precisely the question that will come to your mind when you visit The New Best Rooms exhibition at the Kanteerava Indoor Stadium here. Best Rooms, as the organisers claim, is all about adding that extra flourish to your living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, dining rooms, kitchen and more. But as owning a pure-bred appears to have become something of a matter of prestige of late, the organisers, perhaps, thought it fit to allocate a space for pooches too at the exhibition. One of the stalls at the exhibition showcases exotic breeds, including Beagles, Pekinese, Pugs and the Chihuahuas, the world’s smallest dog and four-legged accessory to celebrities such as Paris Hilton and Britney Spears. The dogs here come at a price that ranges from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 1 lakh. Best Rooms, featuring a host of decorative items, including furniture, is open till March 16. Entry is with a fee.
