Fishworkers’ plea

KOCHI: The Kerala Pradesh Matsya Thozhilali Congress has demanded waiver of debts of fishworkers under the Rs.60,000-crore farm loan waiver proposed in the Union Budget.

The working committee meeting of the organisation pointed out that fisheries had no separate ministry but was under the Agriculture Ministry.
