Businessman robbed at Jayanagar CriMe NOTES

Bangalore: Mithesh Palodia, a businessman, was robbed of his car, a laptop and a mobile phone by three persons in Jayanagar Police Station limits on Wednesday.
The police said that Mithesh had parked his car in front of a cafe at Jayanagar IX Block around 8.30 p.m. When he returned to get back into his car, three persons entered the car and threatened him with a knife. They took him to a deserted place, pushed him out and drove off in his car. Mithesh had a laptop and mobile phone.
House burgled
Thieves made away with valuables and cash after breaking into a house belonging to Narayan, a retired MICO employee, at Panduranganagar in J.P. Nagar Police Station limits on Wednesday.
Mr. Narayan was out of town. Mr. Narayan told the police that 275 grams gold, 4.5 kg silver and Rs. 15,000 were missing.
Theft at temple
Burglars broke into Sri Ramalingeswara Temple on Hulimavu Road on Wednesday and made away with jewellery estimated at Rs. 2 lakh placed on the idol.
The incident came to light when the priest, Parthasarathy, opened the temple on Thursday.
