13 LPG cylinders seized, three held

DAVANGERE: The authorities of the Food and Civil Supplies Department and the police seized 13 liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders that were being transported illegally in a private bus here on Thursday. Shekarappa, who was allegedly transporting the LPG cylinders, and the driver and the conductor of the bus have been arrested. Deputy Director of Food and Civil Supplies Ravindra told The Hindu that preliminary investigations had revealed that Shekarappa was not a dealer of LPG cylinders.
