Moderate rains in Nagapattinam

NAGAPATTINAM: Several parts of the district experienced moderate rain for the second consecutive day on Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Mayiladuturai, Nagapattinam and Sirkazhi blocks recorded more than 50 mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours. The rains were beneficial to pulses sown in about 48,000 hectares.
