Shakeel shines

VISAKHAPATNAM: Md. Shakeel hit a half-century and picked up three wickets in Naval Armament Depot’s 48-run win over Visakhapatnam Dock Labour Board in the VDCA institutions league here on Thursday.

Cargo Handlers Pool scored a one-wicket win with five balls to spare over Andhra Medical College in another match.

The scores: N.A.D. 172 in 29.3 overs (Md. Shakeel 52, Ravi four for 62) bt V.D.L.B. 124 in 28.2 overs (Narayana 52); A.M.C. 144 in 30 overs lost to Cargo Handlers Pool 145 for nine in 29.1 overs. — Special Correspondent
