Taj Expressway project: PIL rejected

Allahabad: The Allahabad High Court has dismissed a PIL filed against Taj Expressway project in Uttar Pradesh. The petition, filed by Ashutosh Srivastava of Noida, had sought a directive from the court to declare the concession agreement between the Taj Expressway Authority and J P Industries Ltd as null and void apart from a CBI inquiry into the matter. Srivastava had alleged massive irregularities and illegalities in the contract. -- PTI
