VIRUDHUNAGAR: Exhibition of products by self-help groups for women here has evoked good response with a sale of goods worth Rs. 13.07 lakh. In a statement, the Collector, V. Chandrasekaran, said that SHGs from Virudhunagar, Theni, Dindigul, Perambalur, Madurai, Sivaganga, Tirunelveli and Tuticorin districts participated in the expo held between March 6 and 12. They displayed jute goods, wooden dolls and decorative articles, and readymade garments and cotton saris worth Rs. 17.18 lakh.
