2 killed, 52 injured in bus mishaps

Guwahati: Two persons were killed and at least 52 injured in two separate bus accidents in Assam on Friday, police said here.

A woman and the conductor were killed on the spot and 40 passengers were injured when a bus travelling from Sorbhog to Barpeta fell into a ditch near Sorbhog.

In another accident, 12 persons were injured when a truck collided with a bus at North Salmara in Dhubri district, police added.
