Rafi Marg to be made one-way for Metro works
Staff Reporter
NEW DELHI: Rafi Marg will be made one-way from Vayu Bhawan to Rail Bhawan roundabout from March 17 to facilitate construction of Krishi Bhawan metro station under Phase II.
Traffic from Rail Bhawan roundabout will be diverted via Rajendra Prasad Marg, Janpath to Maulana Azad Road.
The bus stop on the Krishi Bhawan side of Rafi Marg will be shifted opposite CSIR Building while the bus stop on the Udyog Bhawan side will be shifted to Maulana Azad Road.
Traffic marshals
To ensure a smooth flow of traffic, two traffic marshals will be deployed at all times on each end of the stretch to be made one-way.
The diversions will remain in place till construction activities are completed, said a DMRC release.
