Remembering Maxim Gorky

NEW DELHI: To mark eminent Russian writer Maxim Gorky’s 140th birth anniversary, a literary function was organised here on Thursday. Making a presentation highlighting the literary contributions of Gorky, Russian Centre of Science and Culture Deputy Director V. Cherkas described him as the founder of social realism in Russian literature and a political activist.
