Tuticorin: The police are on the lookout for P. Sundar Raj, a teacher, after his appeal seeking anticipatory bail was dismissed by the Madurai Bench of Madras High Court.

Sundar Raj moved the court for bail after a case was registered against him under Section 4 of Women Harassment Act for “showering obscene words and harassing his woman colleague”. The court dismissed the plea saying, “it’s unfortunate that the petitioner, holding the position of a noble profession, is said to have been involved in this kind of offence. Therefore, this is not a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.”
