Chief Minister’s assurance to BCs

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy on Saturday assured several leaders of Backward Class communities that he would introduce a resolution in the Assembly on 50 per cent reservations for BCs in legislatures. Meanwhile, eight BC organisations said they would stage a demonstration before Parliament on March 17 and 18 to press the demands.
