Porta cabins for RWAs

New Delhi: Aiming at encouraging more development work by the RWAs, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Saturday introduced five more porta cabins for community centres here.

With this, the number of porta cabins in the Capital now stands at 25.

Ms. Dikshit said porta cabins would provide proper space for functioning of RWAs and they would be able to render constructive cooperation for residents of their localities.

Residents’ welfare

“The aim of construction of such cabins is to provide common place to RWAs to think about the welfare of their colonies’ residents and to deliberate their views so that development works can be carried out accordingly in the colonies,” she said.
