Maoist surrenders

ADILABAD: Mesram Shyam Rao alias Mallesh, a 20-year-old Gond tribal member of Mangi dalam of CPI (Maoist) surrendered to the district police on Saturday citing disillusionment with the party. He was involved in an exchange of fire at Kairiguda in Tiryani in October 2006 and beating up of Penduri Rajesham of Gopera village in the same mandal in January 2008. -Staff Reporter
