Census of physically challenged

Staff Reporter

ERODE: The district administration will begin a census of differently-abled persons from March 17 to 31. A release from the district administration in this regard says the census operation will be carried out in all the 20 blocks of the district, municipalities and over 2,000 anganwadi centres.

The release urges such persons to volunteer to provide their data. They can get in touch with anganwadi employees, village health nurses, block development officers and people welfare workers.

Those with the disability identity card should carry them, the release adds.
