Traffic advisory

NEW DELHI: The Delhi traffic police have advised motorists to avoid roads leading to Connaught Place and Sansad Marg on Sunday between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. in view of a procession being taken out by the Shia community.

The procession will start at Pahari Bhojla around 9 a.m. and terminate at Karbala late in the evening after passing through Bazar Chitli Qabar, Bazar Matia Mahal, Chowk Jama Masjid, Chawri Bazar, Chowk Hauz Qazi, Ajmeri Gate, Pul Paharganj, Chelmsford Road, Connaught Place Outer Circle (wrong carriageway), Parliament Street, Red Cross Road, Krishi Bhavan roundabout (wrong carriageway), Raisina Road, Vijay Chowk, Krishna Menon Marg, Tughlak Road, Aurobindo Marg and Jor Bagh.
