Passengers beaten up

NEW DELHI: Some bus passengers were allegedly beaten up by a group of unidentified young men at Vikaspuri here on Friday.

According to the police, nearly two dozen young men armed with hockey sticks and iron rods signalled a Blueline bus to stop near Keshavpuram bus depot and beat up the bus passengers without any provocation.

Four passengers sustained minor injuries in the attack and were taken to Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Hospital. The bus driver and conductor fled sensing danger.
