Team India 16th in practice

MEXICO: A1 Team India was 16th fastest in Saturday’s practice session at the modified Autodromo Hermanos Rodriquez Circuit in Mexico City ahead of the eighth A1 GP race.

In the first official session for rookie drivers and developing nations, A1 Team India’s Parthiv Sureshwaren clocked a lap time of 1:25.414 seconds to finish 16th.

Team India’s lead driver Narain Karthikeyan registered a lap time of 1:22.704s for the 16th place during a close afternoon session with the top 17 drivers separated by just over a second.
