All India Scientists’ meeting

Staff Reporter

COIMBATORE: An All India Scientists’ meeting on ‘Soft Computing Skills’ will be held at Yercaud from March 18 to 21. According to a release from Indian Statistical Institute, the training programme would enable scientists in the field of prediction / forecasting using past data.

While statistical quality control was a methodology to improve overall performance without incurring additional expenses in business houses, soft computing skills are one step ahead, in predicting and preventing business disasters.

About 30 scientists are expected to participate in the residential programme. The programme would bring out an ‘industrial model’ for convenient use.
