Kakinada: Sri Prakash Synergy School, Peddapuram, celebrated ‘Blitz’, its first annual day, on Sunday. Participating as guest of honour, Emergency Management Research Institute (EMRI) Chief Executive Officer Venkat Changavalli exhorted youngsters to make use of available resources in the best possible way to come up in life. Additional Superintendent of Police A.V. Ranganath stressed the importance of discipline, which he also described as a mark of one’s self-reliance. Former member of the Indian cricket team M.S.K. Prasad drew the attention of the youngsters to the changing scenario of sports in India with youth considering it as their career. Indian cultureSchool chairman Chandrabhatla Chintamani Ganapati Sastry spoke about Indian culture and values and said that in the present materialistic world, youngsters should also pay due attention to spirituality, which would certainly bestow upon them all-round development. ‘Srirasthu’, a welcome dance by students of all classes, ‘Twinkle Twinkle’, a dance performance by I to III Grade students, ‘Budi Budi Adugulu’, a catwalk by KG children, ‘Sri Hari Swaralu’, a classical dance performance on Lord Venkateswara and other cultural events performed by the tiny-tots enthralled the audience. District Education Officer P. Parvati, director Ch. Vijay Prakash and others took part in the celebrations.
