Road blockade

BERHAMPUR: Inhabitants of Gate Bazar area of the city blocked the NH 217 that passes through the area for around two hours on Sunday demanding renovation of the road that passes through Golapalli.

They alleged that the road concerned was damaged when trucks and buses were diverted through it during repair of the highway.

They called off the road blockade with promises from the local municipal authorities.
