Motihari: Munna Singh, accused of over three dozen cases of murder, loot and extortion, was on Sunday shot dead in jail premises of East Champaran district of Bihar, police said. Superintendent of Police, Sunil Kumar Jha said that Singh was attacked by a rival gang with bullets and bombs when he returned to jail premises after regular production in the court here. He died on the spot.
