Vishwakarma delegation to Delhi

GULBARGA: President of the Akhila Karnataka Vishwakarma Mahasabha K.P. Nanjundi on Sunday said he would lead a delegation of the community members to New Delhi on May 21 to urge to the Union Government to fulfil their demands. Around 3,000 members of the community would stage a protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, he said.

Addressing a press conference here, Mr. Nanjundi said that the delegation would meet the Prime Minister and other leaders and demand political representation for the community and 3 per cent reservation within the Backward Classes among others. — Staff Correspondent
