Belgaum
In rapt attention: People participating in a conference on ‘Social Democracy’ organised by the Bahujan Samaj Party in Belgaum on Sunday. Belgaum: The General Secretary of the State unit of the Bahujan Samaj Party, P.G.R. Sindhia, has sought an inquiry by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into registration of property in the office of the Sub-Registrar in Shimoga in the past three years, particularly during the tenure of the Janata Dal (Secular)-Bharatiya Janata Party Government. He was speaking at a conference on “Social democracy” here on Sunday. Mr. Sindhia alleged that the former Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa and the former Minister K.S. Eshwarappa had made many properties and assets in the past three years. Mr. Sindhia said the Bahujan Samaj Party was the only viable alternative to the Congress, BJP and the Janata Dal (S) in the State. He promised good governance in the State if the Bahujan Samaj Party was elected to power. Bahujan Samaj Party General Secretary Vir Singh said the BSP was looking forward to win at least 100 Lok Sabha seats in the coming elections.
