Panel to look into journalism courses

Staff Correspondent

HUBLI: Chairman of the Karnataka Media Academy V.N. Subba Rao has said that the academy has formed a standing committee of experts to come out with recommendations for improving journalism courses.

Speaking to presspersons here on Saturday he said that although journalism courses were in great demand in the State, there were many abnormalities in them.

Mr. Rao said that owing to financial constraints he could implement only 25 per cent of the plans he had during his tenure. The academy conducted 80 programmes across the State in the last three years.
