‘Congress can beat IUML in Malappuram’

MALAPPURAM: Congress leader Aryadan Mohammed, MLA, said here on Sunday that the Congress could push the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) to second place in the district if it worked cohesively and systematically. Addressing a meeting at the District Congress Committee office here, Mr. Mohammed said the benefits of the Sachar Committee recommendations should be made available to all sections of the people. This would be a solution to the current socio-economic problems in the country. — Staff Reporter
