Modi arrives on two- day State visit

BANGALORE: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Bangalore on Sunday on a two-day State visit. Mr. Modi will be attending a farmers’ convention being organised by the Bharatiya Janata Party in Hubli on Monday. Sources in the BJP State unit said that Mr. Modi was keen on replicating the success of Karnataka in some of the key areas, especially information technology. “He will be studying these aspects during his visit,” a BJP office-bearer said.
