According to the police and the information reaching here, six farmers of the village went to Hubli in Karnataka to sell their red chilli crop. They were returning on Saturday evening by Hubli-Guntakal-Guntur passenger when a dacoit gang attacked them with hunting sickles and a dummy revolver near Hospet in the wee hours of Sunday.
