Tirupattur advocates boycott court

TIRUPATTUR: The Tirupattur Bar Association has declared a week-long boycott of court from Monday protesting against the move to shift the Vaniyambadi sub-court from the Tirupattur combined court premises to Vaniyambadi.

The association members felt that shifting of the Vaniyambadi sub-court from Tirupattur would pose lot of difficulties.

The advocates handling the case would be forced to travel to Vaniyambadi, which is about 25 km from Tirupattur.

The petitioners too would be required to travel to Vaniyambadi for the hearing. — Staff Reporter
