BANGALORE: The senior Congress leader and former Karnataka Chief Minister, S.M. Krishna, who resigned as Governor of Maharashtra in order to re-join State politics, was given a rousing welcome at the Bangalore airport by party leaders, workers and people from old Mysore area. Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president M. Mallikarjuna Kharge welcomed Mr. Krishna at his residence. Mr.Krishna said that it was the duty of every Congressman to work for bringing the party back to power in the State. He would now concentrate his campaign in villages instead of urban areas, he said.
