KOZHIKODE: KTC thrashed Independence Buds 7-0 in the opening match of the Videocon Kozhikode District ‘A’ Division football league here on Monday.

Fakruddin (two), Sreedesh (two), Rafeeq, Rauf and Vijayan were the scorers.

Later, Young Challengers beat Seaside 2-0. Sumesh and Azeez netted. — Principal Correspondent
