48 students debarred

Fifty-eight students have been debarred so far for resorting to malpractices in the ongoing Intermediate examinations in the district, according to Regional Inspection Officer of the Board of Intermediate Education T. Suri Babu. He told The Hindu here on Monday that in the agency areas like Paderu and Araku, many candidates were found indulging in copying because of low literacy rate. He maintained the examinations had been much smoother this year compared to last two years.
