Man hacked to death

KANCHEEPURAM: Rajan (44) of Malaipoonga area in Chengalpattu town was hacked to death allegedly by a 3-member gang near fish market in the town on Monday morning.

According to police, the gang led by Gopi of Malaipoonga area attacked the victim with lethal weapons and ran away. Rajan died on the spot.

Previous enmity was stated to be the reason for the murder.

The Chengalpattu Town Police have registered a case and are on the lookout for the culprits.
