VISAKHAPATNAM: The all-India inter-zone schedule of Vijaya Hazare Trophy cricket tournament, scheduled to be held here from April 2 has been advanced by a day, according to vice-president of Andhra Cricket Association P.R. Narayanaswami here on Monday. The tournament will now be held from April 1 to 10. Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, and Jharkhand and Himachal Pradesh play pre-quarterfinals on the first day, followed by quarterfinals between Bengal and Delhi and Saurashtra and Karnataka on April 2. Winners of the MP-Tamil Nadu and Jharkhand-HP pre-quarterfinals will play Mumbai and Vidarbha respectively on April 4 and April 5 respectively. The semifinals will be on April 7 and 8, with the final scheduled to be held on April 10. — Special Correspondent
