Brindavan CC posts win

CHENNAI: Brindavan CC chalk out a comfortable win over Leo CC in a second division match of the Kancheepuram DCA cricket league recently.

The scores: I div.: Brindavan CC 155 for seven in 30 overs (T.K. Janakiraman 40, R. Vivek Anand 45) bt Leo CC 43 in 19.5 overs (R. Pandiarajan four for 17); Krishnaraj RC 200 for seven in 24 overs (C. Gopinath 50) bt Leo CC 80 in 16.4 overs (S. Vishwesh four for 26, S. Senthil Bharath four for 33).

II div.: Palavanthangal CC 136 for four in 20 overs (Thulasidharan 43 n.o.) bt Bharath CC 125 for six in 20 overs; Venugopal CC 125 for eight in 20 overs lost to Palavanthangal CC 126 for six in 19.1 overs; Blue Bird CC 111 for eight in 20 overs lost to Facit Asia RC 115 for three in 13.1 overs (Jagadish 52).

KDCA Seshadri Memorial tournament: Frank Worrell CC 97 in 28.5 overs lost to Brindavan CC 98 for seven in 26 overs.
