Three houses gutted

VILLUPURAM: Three houses with thatched roofs, belonging to majority Christians, at Eraiyur near Ulundurpet were destroyed in fire on Tuesday morning. However, nobody was injured.

Those who had lost their belongings in the blaze were identified as M. Antony Samy, S. Lily Flora and S. Sowrimuthu. They were not in their houses when the fire broke out.

The police are investigating the cause of the fire.
