‘Organic farming best solution’

KOLAR: Byalahalli Govindegowda, president of District Cooperative Union, has expressed concern over deteriorating fertility of soil because of excessive use of chemicals and fertilisers in agriculture. Organic farming is the best solution to preserve the health of soil and people, he said. He was inaugurating a training camp on organic farming at the DCU here on Tuesday. — Staff Correspondent
