Mirzapur: Unidentified persons shot dead a police constable and wounded another here on Tuesday. The assailants opened fire at the policemen while they were on way home on their motorbike at Bathua crossing in the city, police said. The motive behind the incident was yet to be ascertained, they said. The injured was admitted to a hospital.
