Man gets lifer for killing wife

Rourkela: A local court has sentenced a man to life imprisonment for killing his wife a year ago at Jalada on the outskirts of the Steel City. Additional district judge V Jayashree found James Asma (35) guilty of killing his wife, Budhuni, after examining 10 witnesses including Soni (6), daughter of the accused. According to prosecution, James poured kerosene on Budhuni after some domestic problems and set her afire in Jalada area under Raghunathpalli police station on April 26 last year. – PTI
