Women’s awareness camp opens

NEW DELHI: An eight-day “Women’s awareness generation camp” organised by Akhil Bhartiya Poojniya Sumitra Mataji Gramin Vikas Sanstha opened at Rithala here over the weekend. Kulwant Rana, MLA, expressed concern over the increasing number of female foeticide cases. Sanstha secretary Vijay Kumar Bharat said women were shining in every profession. “Astronauts Sunita Williams and Kalpana Chawla went to space. In sports we have had athlete P.T. Usha and now we have tennis player Sania Mirza.”
