Repair highway stretch: Congress

KARUR: The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) officials should take up repair and renovation works on the stretch between Thirukampuliyur and Thoranakkalpatti of the National Highway and complete works on a war footing, District Congress Committee president Bank Subramanian has said.

All heavy vehicles had to make a detour via the stretch to enter Karur town following repair works to the new Amaravathy Bridge at Thirumanilyur, Mr. Subramanian said.
