Special train to Visakhapatnam

HYDERABAD: To clear the extra rush of passengers during the festival season, the South Central Railway (SCR) is running a special train between Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam.

According to a press release issued here on Tuesday, the special train will depart Hyderabad on March 19 at 9.50 p.m. and Secunderabad at 10.20 p.m. to arrive Visakhapatnam at 10.40 a.m. the next day.

In the return direction, the special train will depart Visakhapatnam on March 20 at 7.30 p.m. and arrive Secunderabad at 8 a.m. and Hyderabad at 8.40 a.m. the next day.

En route, the train will also stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Tuni and Anakapalli in both directions.

The 15 coach formation of the train will comprise one AC II Tier, one AC III Tier, eight Sleeper Class, two General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage-cum-Brake Van Coaches.
