Anubhav investors asked to file claims by April 21
Special Correspondent
CHENNAI: With the Madras High Court considering payment of the second instalment, those who have invested in the teak schemes of Anubhav Plantations Limited and deposited in Anubhav finance schemes have been requested to make their claims before April 21.
In a statement, M. Ravindran, senior advocate and administrator, Anubhav Group of Companies, said the court was considering payment of the second instalment.
Pro-rata would be based on the available funds and amounts claimed. Though the last date for making claims was June 30, 2005, the court condoned the delay on the applications filed by claimants and directed the administrator to make payments. But, delay could not be condoned indefinitely.
As the pro-rata for the second instalment had to be fixed, the court decided to entertain applications to condone the delay till April 21.
Once the pro-rata was fixed, it would not be possible to condone delay.
