Raju bags six wkts.

VISAKHAPATNAM: HPCL bowler P. Venkatapathi Raju claimed six wickets for the second successive day in the VDCA institutions league.

After his good show against Materials Organisation on Monday, Venkatapathi Raju claimed six wickets against Dredging Corporation of India on Tuesday which helped his team win by 10 wickets in a match that lasted just over 11overs.

DCI was all out for 33 runs with Raju claiming six wickets and Dheeraj picking up two. Abhishek Singh scored an unbeaten 23 as HPCL reached the target in 2.3 overs.

The scores: DCI 33 in 8.5 overs (P. Venkatapathi Raju six for 23) lost to HPCL 34 for no loss in 2.3 overs. — Special Correspondent
