Teams arrive

VISAKHAPATNAM: North Zone and West Zone teams arrived here on Tuesday to play in the Prof. D.B. Deodhar Trophy match at the ACA-VDCA stadium here on Thursday.

Three players who are in the team for the first Test against South Africa starting in Chennai on March 26 will be seen in action here. West Zone captain Wasim Jaffer has arrived with the team while North captain Virender Sehwag along with Yuvraj Singh and Gautam Gambhir — who was unlucky not to make it to the Test squad — are arriving on Wednesday.

Yuvraj’s name was included by team manager Sushil Kapoor in the list given to the VDCA after the team arrived here. — Special Correspondent
